Our approach is rooted in the belief that communities experiencing the worst effects of climate change—Black, Indigenous, immigrant, and other communities of color, and particularly women of color—are best equipped to tackle the root causes of the climate crisis and lead the way with innovative, transformative solutions for a just climate future. TSP’s governance model is distinctive in that our Board of Directors hold fiduciary and organizational oversight, while our Philanthropic Trustees guide the deployment of the organization’s philanthropic resources, ensuring our work is guided by grassroots and movement leaders closest to the issues and solutions.
