So You’re Curious About Climate Justice?
Welcome to our blog!
Climate change is one of the most pressing issues facing our world today, and its impact is felt by communities around the globe. From rising sea levels and extreme weather events to droughts and food insecurity, the effects of climate change disproportionately impact those who are already marginalized and vulnerable.
The Solutions Project recognizes that true change cannot be achieved from the top-down and that those who are most impacted by climate change must be at the forefront of the movement for climate justice. Through advocacy, education, and community organizing, frontline and fenceline organizations work to create a more equitable and sustainable world for all. In this blog, we will explore the many perspectives on how this work moves people to action from philanthropists to frontline and grassroots leaders, to you. Yes, you!
This a space to learn about the many facets of climate justice, environmental justice, and renewable energy from different viewpoints. We’ll recommend books to read, leaders to follow and podcasts to listen to. We’ll discuss trending topics and the intersectionality of racial justice and gender justice in the environmental movement.
This blog is just one of the ways to help our collective voices be heard and highlight the solutions that exist within our own communities. We hope you’ll join us!
