This Earth Month, the climate justice movement is sending a clear message: no rollback of environmental protections will stop our fight for an equitable and sustainable future.
As the current administration threatens critical climate policies—including closing down the EPA’s Environmental Justice Office and canceling the $27 billion Greenhouse Gas Reduction Fund—climate justice leaders and their allies are doubling down on their commitment to community-led solutions.
More than 100 partners and organizations have joined The Solutions Project, Black Voters Matter, Native Organizers Alliance and dozens of our grassroots grantees to stand strong in our love for people and the planet. These partners include community organizations, businesses, philanthropic institutions, cultural leaders, and more, with signatories including Catalyst Miami, Just Transition Northwest Indiana, Carbon Neutral Cities Alliance, Reverb, TED, Seventh Generation, Kresge, Surdna Foundations, Bill McKibben, Baratunde Thurston, Chris Evans, and Pedro Pascal.
“It’s time to make a renewed commitment to bold climate solutions that benefit all living beings and Mother Earth,” the letter says. “We believe that we can come together to create the positive climate tipping point we need.”
Together, signatories are committing to:
The Solutions Project will continue accepting signatories to “We ♥️ People & Planet: Stand for Climate Justice” through the end of the year. Ready to stand with us?
