We’re proud to share The Solutions Project’s 2024 Impact Report, which shows what’s possible when frontline communities lead the way on climate justice.

In a year marked by political uncertainty and ongoing attacks on environmental protections, our grantee partners continued to organize, innovate, and win. This report is a celebration of their leadership and a testament to the strength of our collective movement.

Key Highlights from 2024:

  • Over $5 million in funding to 131 frontline grantees across 39 states and territories to reflect the disproportionate adverse impact of climate change on communities of color and on women:
    • 92% of organizations are Black, Indigenous, and People of Color-led organizations
    • 84% of grantee partners are women of color-led
  • We’re reaching millions with stories of climate justice solutions with 1.2 billion reached for our media and digital campaigns
  • We also launched the Climate Justice Solutions Storybank and celebrated community solutions by hosting the fourth annual Black Climate Week

Beyond the numbers are the stories – stories of joy, resistance, transformation. They are reminders that climate justice isn’t abstract, it’s happening everyday in communities protecting their people and homes, and innovating solutions to meet their needs.

At The Solutions Project, we know that the people closest to the problems are closest to the solutions. Now more than ever, we are committed to resourcing and amplifying frontline communities.
